baubles and bubbles

Time for an update now that Halloween has passed...

October is always filled with a ton of weddings, festivals, and parties, etc. so naturally it is one of my favorite (and busiest) months.  If you have never been to Epcot Food and Wine Festival, I highly recommend it!!  I go every year because I'm a big foodie.  Plus, mix great food and spirits with a little Disney magic and you can't go wrong.  This year I celebrated my guy's birthday at Food and Wine.  Cheers to the years!

Then it was ParkAvenue Fashion Week where I was once again lucky enough to work backstage doing makeup for several of the models.  This is an event that keeps getting better and better.  I love seeing the designers pull together a collection that represents each of their unique styles.  And I love the challenge of stepping outside of the norm beauty makeup to do some more creative makeups.

a lil update...

What a fun month it has been since my last posting!  First, had a very quick trip to Atlanta to see my guy and have him finally meet my best friend from Greenville, Marisa.  If you get a chance to visit Atlanta, spend some time in Midtown!  So much fun.  And my guy surprised me with Braves tickets!  Hands down one of the coolest stadiums around.

Then it was off to St. Augustine with my guy and friends to see Mumford and Sons for the Gentlemen of the Road Tour. Mumford is by far one of the best bands I've ever had the pleasure of seeing live.  I swear I had chill bumps the whole time.

And now it's back to the grind with work... the holidays are fast approaching!  Time to start working in my Halloween costume!  But first, look for me at the Park Avenue Fashion Week Runway Show. For the third year in a row, I will be backstage working with a great group of talented artists to create looks for each of the designers presenting in the show. If you don't already gave tickets...  Get them!!  This show is always exciting and great way to support the local community.

Park Avenue Fashion Week 2012

just catching up...

I can't believe I never posted a pic from Halloween?!  Crazy how times flies...  SOOO much has been going on that I guess it just slipped my mind.  October was a crazy busy month with a few weddings, Halloween makeups, and working the Park Avenue FashionWeek Show!  It's a tough life living the dream, but someone's gotta do it!  Actually, it's not tough at all. Anyways, here are a couple shots from October worthy of sharing...

First, HALLOWEEN:

walk the walk

Ahh! It's been a minute since my last blog because I've been so, so busy working. Actually, I lie. I did get a little vacay the last week of September where I went on a cruise with friends. If you've never been on a cruise before, I highly recommend checking out any of the ones offered through Sixthman!!! Great bands, sun, relaxation...bliss!! Way too much fun.

So I came back from vacay refreshed and ready to tackle the Orlando makeup scene. And I was lucky enough to be one of the makeup artists for the ParkAvenue FashionWeek runways shows last Saturday. Several of the boutiques from Park Avenue participated in the week-long event, such as Bay Hill Jewelers on Park, Bebe's & Liz's, Coralia Leets Jewelry Boutique, Current, Eileen Fisher, John Craig Clothier, LaBella Intimates, Lilly Pulitzer, Sultre, Synergy, Thread, Tresor Gallery, and Tuni. There was so much positive energy backstage and we all worked so well as a M.A.C team to crank out some really great makeup looks. Here are a couple pics from the show but you can also click HERE too see alllllll action.
